Field Trip Project Asia is a participatory collective creation project that was initiated by Japanese artist Daisuke Takeya. This year, the final exhibition of the project entitled "Life on an Island: The N Kinds of Sustainable Living of Islanders" exhibits the collective creations for the project in Taiwan.

In this series of ink drawings and cut text, each piece contains a story - the essence of one person’s experience of loneliness. I think of each drawing as a microcosmic world of an individual, made from ink and water gathered from different rivers, puddles, streams around Ireland.
